It has nothing to do with being an environmental “whacko”.
It’s just that I believe self defense is something more than just kicking and punching. Whether you believe in global warming or not, it is clear, we need to protect our planet’s natural resources and do what we can to eliminate waste and conserve our resources whenever possible.
I don’t think we have to take an “all or nothing” view on the environment. I’m not for over-regulating every industry that could bring our economy to a halt!
However, surely we can work together and develop alternate fuel sources to “fuel the engine” of our economy, while protecting our planet at the same time?
Whenever I doubt the importance of this work, I watch the video below, which reminds me just how beautiful and precious our planet really is.
