Samurai Karate Studio is a proud member of Martial Artists Against Bullying
MAAB is a national program designed to pull together Martial Arts schools across the country and help raise awareness about bullying and provide specific aid to children and families that are struggling with this growing epidemic.
I have personally experienced the terror of bullying and I have worked with hundreds of children to help them learn how to defeat the bully in a non-violent way. The first step in the process is to take the pledge.
The Anti-Bullying Pledge:
I believe everyone has the right to feel safe.
I will commit to standing strong against bullying.
I will treat others with respect and kindness.
I have the compassion to not be a bully and the courage to not be a bystander.
It is my responsibility to help others who are being bullied and to report bullying when I see it or when it happens to me.
I will not stand by. I will stand up.
Over the years I have have taught hundreds of children and I am convinced, a child’s greatest tools are confidence and kindness.
If you or someone you know, is a victim of bullying, we can help.
But, you need to take the first step and call 803-462-9425 or email us at: [email protected]
Together, let’s stand up against bullying!
