“In order to use courtesy, you must practice courtesy!” Sensei Chris Feldt
This month Samurai Karate Studio will be discussing one of our favorite character traits which is COURTESY. This is an important trait for children to learn as they emerge out of elementary school. Kids that are friendly and courteous, generally have less problems with bullies at school.
Week 1 we will encourage all of our students learn the kindness pledge and post a video on Facebook talking about the pledge and their commitment for the month.
Week 2 we will talk about the right way to introduce yourself to someone with a polite greeting.
Week 3 we will talk about being a good listener and smiling.
Week 4, lastly, we will talk about using courtesy while talking or texting on your cell phone.
